Paint Serum IV is designed for users who want a more serious long-term coating Paint Serum while still keeping application achievable for skilled enthusiasts and detailers. It delivers the gloss and smoothness the Paint Serum range is known for, but steps up durability and resistance for vehicles that need stronger long-term protection.

YumCars positions the Paint Serum range as a unique flexible ceramic protection system, engineered to partially absorb into the clear coat rather than behaving purely like a brittle layer sitting on top. Paint Serum IV builds on that philosophy with hybrid bonding technology and a silicon carbide infused topcoat for increased repellence and resistance.

This makes Paint Serum IV a strong choice for cars that are regularly driven, exposed to harsher conditions or owned by customers who want a more durable coating option without moving straight to the longest-life Paint Serum VI.

Correct preparation is critical. The paint should be fully washed, chemically decontaminated, mechanically decontaminated, polished if required and wiped down with Yum Panel Wipe. Maintain afterwards with Yum Wash, Yum Detailer and occasional Yum Ceramic top-ups only when protection performance starts to fade.

Keep one towel for initial levelling and a second clean towel for final inspection. On darker paint, finish each section with slow, straight-line passes under inspection lighting to catch any remaining carrier oils before they cure.

Is Paint Serum IV harder to apply than Paint Serum II?
It is more performance focused and should be treated as an advanced coating, but it remains designed for a straightforward, controlled application when preparation is correct.

Can it be topped with Yum Ceramic?
Yes, once cured, Yum Ceramic can be used later as a maintenance topper if you want to refresh slickness and water behaviour.
