Paint Serum II is the easiest entry point into the YumCars Paint Serum coating system. It has been designed for users who want serio us ceramic protection, but do not want the process to feel intimidating or overly technical. The result is a coating that feels approachable, yet still delivers the gloss, water behaviour and maintenance benefits expected from a true ceramic coating.

Unlike conventional coatings that simply sit on the surface as a hard sacrificial layer, the Paint Serum range has been developed around a more flexible coating concept. YumCars describes the technology as behaving more like a skin serum, partially absorbing into the clear coat rather than forming only a rigid layer on top. This helps deliver a deeper, more natural finish with a wet, wax-like appearance.

Paint Serum II is ideal for well-prepared daily drivers, enthusiast vehicles and customers wanting a user-friendly coating with genuine longevity. It should still be treated like a proper coating installation, meaning paint should be washed, chemically decontaminated , mechanically decontaminated, polished if required and wiped down with Yum Panel Wipe before application.

For maintenance, wash with Yum Wash or Yum Rinse-Less and use Yum Detailer as your regular drying aid. If protection needs topping up later, Yum Ceramic can be used as a spray sealant maintenance layer.

Do a small test section first and time the flash behaviour in your workshop conditions. Temperature, humidity and airflow can change how quickly a coating needs to be levelled, so dialling in your wipe-off timing before coating the whole car will reduce the risk of high spots.
